He entered the P5's worldwide rankings in 2008 following very impressive results in the month of June, in which he won the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand and placed 2nd in the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy. Those two scores combined for over $51,000 in total earnings. He also had a final table appearance in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed in April '08. On August 31st, 2008, "breeth" earned $37,500 for another 2nd place finish in the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy. His breakout month came in October '08, when he won the Stars "Sunday 500" for $91k along with the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for another $72k. '06) has impressed much of the poker world with his knowledge of the game and his easy-going personality . In 2008, Steve had two outright victories in the AbsolutePoker $150k Guaranteed Saturday flagship tournament, for a combined $78,000. He also had two wins in the AbsolutePoker $1k Weekly tournament in back-to-back months for $34k each. He also won the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand for $26k. Exactly three months earlier, he had taken down the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $102,500. In September '08, he won the $300 PLO rebuy WCOOP Event #25 for $144k.
