The last time I wrote I was struggling with where I was as a poker player. Things have changed drastically. I have regained the confidence that every poker player needs. If you dont have confidence in this game you are doomed for a losing fate. With that said I'd like to go over some key moments I had this week.

I've been playing more multi table tournaments lately. I used to play them all the time until i started losing focus on them. I have a problem paying attention when it's online. Back in the day I would watch every single hand played out. I'm trying to regain that focus I once had, sadly I feel im only half way where i need to be. <READMORE>I managed to come in 4th out of 42 people for the seat into Aruba. I was chip leader for majority of the second half of the tourney. Playing probably my best internet multi in 2 months. With 4 people left I had 30k in chips with the next closest being 17k or so. Cruising along until this hand came up. It was folded to me on the button and I held KQo. The blinds were at 800-1600 with an ante. SB and BB each had 10k. I felt like the best play was to move all in. The small blind thought for 20 seconds and called. The BB didnt think at all and also called. I wasn't surprised when I saw that the SB held 77. A great call on his part. What did the BB have you ask? Oh, just 66. How can someone overcall with 66 in that situation? I could have predicted the K 6 9 flop before it was dealt. I tilted away and lost a ton of chips on J J 3 flop when I was in the BB with 3 5. I lost the pot to MR. 66. Left with 7k, I moved all in on the button with AQ 2 hands later and the BB called me with A6. Just when I thought I was going to be back in it, a cursed 6 came on the turn. Oh well. I'm happy with my performance.

I managed to make the final table at the weekly foxwoods tournament. There was one huge hand I would like to go over. Blinds are 100-200. I'm in the BB with 7 9o and have about 4500 in chips. The button had limped and its he and I HU. I had just doubled up off him with my QQ vs his AJ. So i felt he was a little pissed at me. The flop came down Q 5 Q. I led out for 300 and he quickly called. At this point im 100% sure he doesnt have a Q. I'm also 83% sure he doesnt hold a 5 as he was the type of player who would raise with a 5 in that situation. I was planning on betting the turn heavy until a 7 fell off. I knew I had the best hand. I bet another 300. He just called again. Now I knew what this guy was trying to pull off. He was going to try and take the pot away at the river. The river came down another Q. This was the best card possible. It could not possibly help his hand. I checked waiting for him to make his move. Sure enough, he moved all in. I took the time to glance a look over at him. I'm not big on physical tells but he just gave all sorts of them. He was glancing back at his cards. When asked to count his chips he did it at a ridiculously fast pace. This man was nervous. I called and he said K high. I showed him my 79 and he flipped out on me. I kept my mouth shut. You have no idea how hard it was not ripping him apart. I ended up finishing in 7th place for a $1900 payday.

My confidence has been restored and you will most likely see a happier LatestLines2 at the internet tables. I guess my mouth was getting out of control.
