PocketFives.com members continue to make mincemeat of the competition in the ongoing Ultimate Bet Online Championship (UBOC). This time, Aaron AJinOK Ruppert barreled through the field of a $320 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low event, the 15th on the 2010 UBOC schedule. Members of the online poker community have snagged titles in 12 of the 15 completed UBOC events for an outstanding 80% success rate. In addition, PocketFives.com members have swept the last six tournaments.

Ruppert’s victory in the $320 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low event was worth $25,000. The tournament attracted 331 Pot Limit Omaha aficionados, but fell short of its $100,000 guaranteed purse. Ruppert outlasted UB.com member GRAPEAPE177 heads-up and the top 36 players walk away with cash. The Norman, Oklahoma native, who is currently digging out from a massive snowstorm that hit on Thursday at the same time as the UBOC event, has had a sensational month of January, recording wins in the PokerStars $215 rebuy and $40,000 Guaranteed for a combined bankroll boost of $78,000.
Also reaching the final table was UB.com pro Shawn westtexasman Rice (pictured at left with Blair Rodman and hatjr). The longtime fixture of the online poker community took third place and earned $10,000 in the 15th UBOC event. Rice finished as the runner-up to James Vogl in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em event held during the 2004 WSOP for $213,000. The challenging final table in that contest also featured Season 6 World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship victor David Chiu and former PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event winner J.C. Tran.

Taking seventh in the UBOC event was Phil Hellmuth, who serves as a front man for the site. The 11-time WSOP bracelet winner banked $4,200 for his efforts in the non-Hold’em tournament. Here’s what the final table looked like:

1. YOSSARIAN80 - $25,000 (AJKinOK)
2. GRAPEAPE177 - $15,150
3. SHAWN RICE - $10,500 (westtexasman)

6. ANGRIFF - $5,250
7. PHILHELLMUTH - $4,250
