She's been number 1 in the PLB for a while now, but this week, Annette_15 has finally reached her goal of being the number 1 ranked tournament player on the net. Her results have consistently been nothing short of spectacular, including in the past week. Her two wins in the UltimateBet $100 tournaments, her win in the Stars $150, and 3 other final tables on Stars (including a $10k score in the $200 rebuy) all contributed this week to her PLB total. Annette's rise to the number 1 spot in the rankings makes her the 6th player to be ranked number 1, and the third since we implemented our automated rankings. She's the first female to reach the number 1 spot, as well as the first player who resides outside the United States. PocketFives.com members continue to be amazed as we watch her incredible run.
Imper1um and atimos also each picked up a spot this week in the top 10. Imper1um is now the number 1 player in the PocketFives.com Pro Poll, which shows just how much respect his play gets from his peers. Atimos has continued to rise in the PLB, and after beating BeL0WaB0ve in the Monthly PLB champions heads up match, he now has a shot to win some more money, and he'll face off against whomever emerges as the January champion, most likely ComeOnPhish.
PokerJoe9 jumped up 4 spots to number 16, and that doesn't even include any of the scores he had on Monday, when he won approximately $80k for two first place finishes and two runner up performances. His rise this week was due in part to his win in the UB Sunday $500.
Another big riser this week, and one that won't surprise anyone that's been paying attention, was Andy McLEOD. He's been on a run this year that's been nothing short of extraordinary. His story in this week's update is his second consecutive win in the Full Tilt Monday $1k tourney, the two of which combined for just under $100k. Wow.
TheWacoKidd also continues to rise, moving up 5 spots to number 24 following two very high finishes in the UB $200k. He had four final tables in the past week, including a 2nd place finish in the Full Tilt $100. Similarly, Deuce2High (AKA Pwnasaurus) moved up 5 spots to number 33, having made two final tables in the major Sunday tournaments.
This week's biggest riser in the top 50 was ComeOnPhish, who's also the leader in the 2007 Yearly PLB after one month and the likely winner of the January PLB. He moved up 15 spots to number 38, having had a week that included a 2nd place in a Stars $100, 4th place in a Stars $100 rebuy, and a win in a Full Tilt $200 for over $20k.
Another 15 spot riser this week was YoungSupremacy, who just entered the rankings last week and is already closing in on top 50 status. He's been playing a whole lot of poker, and his week included no fewer than 6 final tables in tracked events, including a win in a Party $150 and a 2nd place finish in a Stars $50 rebuy.
Right below him was The-Toilet, who rose 14 spots to number 65. He should continue moving up, as he's already had a nice score on Full Tilt this week, but the big one was his win in the UltimateBet $200k on Sunday. That was a $45k score, and for the PLB, it was worth nearly 450 points.
Busto_soon, currently in the top 10 in the yearly PLB, had a nice jump of 11 spots to number 72. Not far below him, x2then moved up 14 spots to number 76. X2then won the Stars $200 rebuy on Sunday, which was significant in itself, but even more amazing was who he beat at that final table. Hikkespett, THE__D__RY, Annette_15, CrazyMarco, Gank, Mr. Menlo, and Deuce2High were all challenging him in the final 8, and he emerged with a very impressive win.
Two newcomers to the rankings jumped up more than 20 spots this week. Gaffel came in at number 78, with his big win being a $71k score in the PokerStars Sunday Warm Up, which now has a $300k Guarantee. Mman_status jumped in right below him, debuting in the rankings at number 79. He's been putting up some big scores, and his latest was a win in a $100 rebuy on Stars.
The last newcomer to the rankings was moorman1, who came in at number 89. He finished 2nd to ComeOnPhish in that Full Tilt $200, and he's been making a number of final tables from week to week.

**Note** Both the Bodog and Stars Sunday Main Events were not able to be included this week, but they will be in the system for next week's update. Some of the biggest beneficiaries of their inclusion will be mr. menlo, GB2005, and atimos. We apologize for the delay.
