For those Americans still waiting on their Full Tilt Poker refunds, we have some good news for you. Yes, it has been a full four-and-a-half years since Full Tilt vacated the US market on Black Friday, so for many players with disputed claims, it has been a long, frustrating 50 months.

According to Poker Players AllianceExecutive Director John Pappas, another $5.7 million in refunds has been approved by the US Department of Justice. Pappas explained on Facebook, “This next wave includes roughly 2,000 petitioners totaling $5.7 million in funds. These are petitioners with disputed funds, those with missing information, and those who they consider ‘new petitioners’ (e.g. did not file with valid login credentials).”

It’ll take a couple of weeks to transfer the $5.7 million to Garden City Group, the appointed claims administrator. From there, Garden City Group will test players’ bank accounts and disseminate the cash.

The latest round of refunds won’t satisfy all outstanding claims, however, and there will still be several thousand players waiting for their funds. Pappas explained, “This leaves about 3,800 petitions unresolved. Most of them are ‘new petitioners’ and there are some others, including pro players, who are mixed into that bunch. There was no timeline provided for those final petitions, but the expectation was that they could all be done at once.”

Garden City Group has been posting updates on its official claims website, FullTiltPokerClaims.com, but has not published any information related to the latest round of refunds that Pappas referred to. Players with questions about their claims are urged to email Info@FullTiltPokerClaims.com or call 866-250-2640.

The first round of Full Tilt refunds was sent out on early 2014. The most recent round was sent out in June 2015.
