It’s hard to believe it’s already that time of year again, but the World Series of Poker Main Event is about to fire up on Saturday, July 5. PocketFives will once again be in Las Vegas for it and we’re going to be bowling at the Gold Coast Bowling Center on Sunday, July 6 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm local time. It’s completely free and you’re invited!

Just like we’ve done in the past, we’ll have free food, free bowling, and a couple of free drink tickets for anyone who shows up. You can even bring friends if you’d like, regardless of whether they’re members of PocketFives. PocketFives co-founder Cal Spears, Editor-in-Chief Dan Cypra, and Admin wackyJaxon will all be there and we’re looking forward to meeting everyone:

Date: Sunday, July 6
Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm PT
Location: Gold Coast Bowling Center, Gold Coast Casino
Cost: Free!

Last year, WSOP bracelet winner Cal cal42688Anderson showed up, as did a few of the pros from Ultimate Poker, one of the regulated sites in Nevada. We also had plenty of Off Topic regulars turn out along with longtime PocketFivers like Jon pokertripFriedberg and Chris Fox Wallace, the latter of whom won a bracelet a few weeks ago.

We’ll have PocketFives gear on-hand that we’ll be awarding to some of the best (or worst) bowling scores. You’ll also have the chance to meet fellow PocketFivers whom you’ve spent most of your time conversing online with.

Saturday is Day 1B of the WSOP Main Event and, even if you’re playing in it, you should have a chance to stop by during the dinner break if you’d like, as the Gold Coast is directly next door to the Rio.

The Bowling Center has 70 total lanes and we’ll be reserving at least five of them, so look for the signs when you enter the facility or ask at the shoe rental counter and they’ll point you in the right direction. The Gold Coast Bowling Center is located up the escalator from the main casino floor.

E-mail us at support@pocketfives.com if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the Gold Coast Bowling Center on Sunday, July 6!
