With one score – yes one, single, solitary score – Brayden BRAYD3NFritzshall (pictured) won the March Monthly PLBon PocketFives. It’s one of the largest in the money finishes a PocketFives member has ever recorded and came with a victory in the Ninth Anniversary PokerStars Sunday Million.

He won the tournament following a deal and pocketed $597,000 along with a healthy 3,175 PLB Points. To put it in perspective, the next closest person on the March PLB had 2,973 PLB Points, so Fritzshall sealed the deal with the Sunday Million win alone. The event had a $10 million prize pool and over 50,000 entrants.

Fritzshall won the Sunday Second Chance in 2013 for $48,000, so he’s no stranger to the winner’s circle. He has piled up 74 tracked wins over the years and has $1.1 million in career online tournament scores. Worldwide, you can find him at #160 in the PocketFives Rankings. In Mexico, he’s #12, and in his seaside hometown of Ensenada, he’s #1. He’s originally from sunny Florida.

Here’s how the March PLB shook out:

10. SvZff – 2,500.37 points

Fritzshall’s 3,750-point haul is the largest in a month since September, when PokerKaiser booked 4,026 points. Also in March, Fritzshall found time to chop the Battle at the Beach Championship in Pompano Beach, Florida for $98,000.

In case you’re wondering, the largest single PLB Point haul came in the 2008 WCOOP Main Event. This author remembers the tournament pretty vividly, and it saw Carter ckinguscKing win for $1.7 million officially and 3,305 PLB Points. Yevgeniy Jovial Gent Timoshenko’s WCOOP Main Event win the following year was worth 3,274 PLB Points.

Congrats to Fritzshall on winning the March PLB race on PocketFives.
