If you have 11 cents to spare, then you have enough to enter bwin’s new Lowrider tournament, which, as you’d guess, is targeted primarily at low-stakes players and beginners. Text found on bwin’s website lauds, “Our tournament classic suited especially for beginners and small-stakes players is back. Take the fast lane to a serious cash boost with Lowrider - $1,000 added. A tiny wager combined with a huge amount of added money will let you cruise to a healthy bankroll smoothly and may be the beginning of your poker career.” Go to bwin.

The Lowrider, as bwin alluded to, has $1,000 added to its prize pool. So, on top of everyone’s $0.11 buy-ins, there will also be a healthy $1,000 up for grabs. It provides excellent value for anyone who plays and comes your way daily from now until January 15th. You’ll find it in the lobby at 20:00 GMT+1 under “Scheduled Tournaments.” The Lowrider is only available for a limited amount of time, so get in the game before you’re left in the dust.

Also ongoing on bwin is the Contenders freeroll promotion. The Contenders is painfully easy to understand. Six freerolls will be held on bwin and, based on how many Market Points you rack up in January, you’ll be slotted into one. That’s it. That’s all there is to it. The minimum number of Market Points required is 100, which will punch your ticket to a $1,000 freeroll.

Scoring at least 1,500 Market Points will get you into a $1,500 freeroll, while amassing 5,000 Market Points in a calendar month will land you a ticket to a $2,500 freeroll. 15,000 Market Points means you’ll be able to partake in a $5,000 freeroll, while the second largest freeroll available is $10,000. You can get into that one by racking up at least 30,000 Market Points in a calendar month.

The granddaddy of Contender freerolls is worth $20,000 and is open to any bwin player who can bring in 75,000 Market Points in a calendar month. All six freerolls are held on the second Saturday of the following month at 18:00 GMT+1. You’ll need to be a b'inside member in order to play in any of the Contender freerolls, but know that joining the club is completely free.

It’s the beginning of January, so there’s still plenty of time left to get started. Here is a quick recap of the six Contender freerolls:
