There are 13 players left in Event #38 of the 2014 World Series of Poker, a $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split Eight or Better tournament. Among those still in the hunt is Cal cal42688 Anderson, who is seeking his second bracelet of the year.

Anderson won his first WSOP event a scant four days agoin a $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Eight or Better tournament for $190,000 and then snapped a pretty memorable picture with fellow former #1 ranked player Griffin Flush_EntityBenger (shown at right). Anderson is in fifth place entering the final day of Event #38, with the entire tournament field looking up at 2014 bracelet winner George Danzer.

If you’re a fan of poker on ESPN, then you’ll be happy to know that announcer Norman Chad is still in this event as well and has the third shortest stack. Chad teased on Twitter, “They say I have cashed, and I hope they are not wrong.” WSOP Vice President Ty Stewart joked, “@Normanchad – [is it] true that when you make the @wsop money your ex-wives and their lawyers get a six-way chop,” referring to Chad’s continuous on-air quips about his ex-wives.

A couple of well-known PocketFivers are also in contention: Brian Stinger885Hastings and John $JMONEY$ Racener (pictured). Hastings, who won a bracelet in 2012 in a $10,000 Heads-Up event, bagged the third largest stack on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Racener, who took second in the Main Event in 2010, is the tournament’s short stack.

Danzer relegated two-time bracelet winner Steve Zolotow to the rail in 14th place, the final elimination of Wednesday’s play. Danzer had a pair of aces and a 6-4 low to send Zolotow away; Danzer won his first WSOP bracelet earlier this month in a $10,000 Razz event. Amazingly, seven of Danzer’s 10 WSOP cashes are final tables.

With so much poker talent, we should see quite a lively finish. There were 134 entrants and everyone remaining is guaranteed at least $25,000. The top prize is $352,000. Here are the 13 remaining stacks:

Several online poker players who have experienced a ton of success in the live world are among the final 11 players, including WPT Bellagio Cup III champ Kevin BeL0WaB0VeSaul (pictured) and 2011 PCA Main Event winner Galen Turk Malloy Hall.

Saul posted on Twitter, “And we’ve made our 1st ever Day 3 in a wsop prelim.” As he alluded to, Event #37 will mark his first WSOP final table; he won a WSOP Circuit ring in 2012 in the Foxwoods Main Event.
