Anderson and fellow PocketFiver Shaun shaundeeb Deeb have been neck-and-neck for the most COOP (WCOOP, TCOOP, and SCOOP) titles won. As the PokerStars Blog put it, “Shaun Deeb did not hold the record for most career COOPs for very long before Anderson tied Deeb with eight. Anderson took down Event #62 to win his second WCOOP bracelet and eighth overall COOP. He had previously been tied with Deeb at seven until Deeb pulled ahead with an eighth win in Event #44 earlier this week. Just as Deeb notched #8, Anderson quickly caught up.”

Anderson was one of the short stacks entering the final table of the $320 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Six-Max tournament. By the time heads-up rolled around, he was a 5:1 underdog. However, Anderson ultimately took the lead, with the Blog explaining, “First blood was drawn by cal42688, who tripled up inside of a few hands and pulled almost even after cal42688 scooped with the Wheel. The two swapped the lead a few times before cal42688 pulled away.”

Here’s how the Six-Max final table cashed out:

1. cal42688 (Mexico) – $36,019
2. Ogom3z (Mexico) – $26,868
3. ismo<3seppo (Finland) - $19,956
4. kedvedert (Hungary) – $13,629
5. fish_san (Japan) – $9,735
6. neilcaterham (United Kingdom) – $5,841

Anderson’s other WCOOP bracelet came five years ago in a $215 No Limit Single Draw 2-7 event for $15,000. One year later, he took down a WCOOP Second Chance tournament and earned $82,000, one of his largest online scores ever. His eight COOP wins include five SCOOP titles:

2010: $16.50 PLO Rebuy
2011: $215 Stud Hi-Lo
2013: $215 LHE Six-Max
2014: $2,100 HORSE
2015: $2,100 Stud

Anderson is $90,000 shy of hitting $6 million in career online tournament winnings and was ranked #1 on PocketFives as recently as 2013. His largest cash ever came in 2011 after winning the Full Tilt $1.5 Million Guarantee for over $300,000. He has $1.3 million in live tournament winnings, according to the Hendon Mob, and won a bracelet at the 2014 World Series of Poker.
