It’s hard to believe that the month of September is already over. What a quick 30 days it was. For one PocketFiver, September was an especially profitable month. Carter ckingusc King won the September Monthly PLB race on PocketFives.com, amassing 4,014 points. He edged out two very well-known and very successful PocketFivers in the process: Number one ranked player Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis finished second in the September PLB and Peter number1pen Neff finished third. Let’s check out the results from last month in the PocketFives Leader Board race.

King’s biggest accomplishment in September was taking down the $5,200 buy-in PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker Main Event. He pocketed over $1.2 million in the process after a five-way chop and recorded a massive PLB score of over 3,000 for that alone. The tournament had an amazing $10.9 million in the prize pool. King also had an eighth place finish in the $100 rebuy on PokerStars for $8,200 during the month. In the end, winning the largest online poker tournament ever held was worthy in itself of taking down the PLB title.
