A nosebleed-stakes player taking down the PokerStars Sunday 500 was your big headline over the weekend. Dan ‘w00ki3z.’ Catestook down the $500 buy-in minefield and earned almost $65,000.
Cates Tweeted that the win was karma of sorts:

Elsewhere, the PokerStars Sunday Million was taken down by player ‘Turko_man‘ for a score of $183,709, with ‘salta44‘ and ‘DerRaeuber‘ earning $136,298 and $96,001 for their respective 2nd and 3rd place finishes in that event.
Hungarian ‘greengrass67‘ (ranked #311 worldwide) was victorious in the Sunday Warm-Up and took home $76,125. The Six-Max Sunday Supersonic was won by ‘piojosoo‘, who pocketed $46,557.
Also scoring big on PokerStars was Doug ‘WCG|Rider’ Polk hauling in $162,952 after taking down the PokerStars Mountain Series – $700 Kilimanjaro.
Meanwhile, it was ‘Atuaprimade_4‘ who outlasted all opponents in the partypoker High Roller event, cashing for $38,610. The $320 buy-in “Baby Whale” at 888 Poker saw ‘olibalint‘ walk away with $28,860.
