1. I was in the big blind, and there was someone on the button whom I had played with for 10 hours, who was an all in pusher and was short enough to be doing it with any 2 cards at this point. He open pushed all in for 40k, and I called with K T. He had 5 8 and hit a 5....hey that's poker....down to 210k. <READMORE>
2. The next hand I am in the small blind, and the best thing to have happen after losing a big pot on a bad beat is getting a good hand, because people will think you are tilting....so I picked up A K suited in the SB....it folds to me....I make it 10k to go, and the bb makes it 25k. I make it 75k, and she pushes ALL IN for way more than I had....I fold instantly, and she shows aces. Very nice time for someone to have aces, and I am down to 145k.
3. I have 9 9. Someone raises 10k, and I make it 30k....Kathy Liebert goes all in from the big blind for 100K. I fold, and I'm down to 115k.
4. The all in pusher guy raises, I reraise him all in with 9
10, and he calls with A J. I suck out, back to 160k.5. Kathy Liebert raises 10k preflop for the 5th straight time....I reraise her all in with A J from the sb. Unless she has aces or kings, she never calls these moves. She has aces....another excellent bit of timing....and I have 45k....wheeeee
6. I am in last place with 7 to go till the money, but I am in short stack ninja mode. I move in where necessary and steal enough blinds to maintain my stack as the bubble pops...
7. I blind down to 24k with the blinds 3k/6k, and I pick up A8 in the BB. It folds to the button, who makes it 15k. I push, and he is forced to call with 4
5, and I double up to 50k....so I have some fold equity now...8. I pick up A K and A Q and reraise all in and get folds, and I build up to 100k with no showdowns, as the next level of money comes, and we reshuffle the tables at 36 players. I am now in great shape strategically, because I now have enough chips to RERAISE and get people to fold, even at the 3k/6k level...
9. First hand of new table... Karlo, who raises 95% of the hands, makes it 18k to go. I am in the SB with 33... I PROBABLY MAKE THIS PLAY WITH ANY 2 CARDS, but all the better with 3 3... I push allin for 95k total, and as I know karlo is folding, the only problem would arise if by some miracle the bb had a premium hand, which of course he did....YAYYYY TIMING! He had AK and called, karlo obviously folded his crap, and I lost the ONE coin flip I had the whole tourney. With all the carnage, I could STILL have been a force if one coinflip came my way. That's poker, that's life, smd.
