On Sunday, Dan djk123Kelly (pictured) carried a major chip lead into the final table of a $1,500 Limit Hold’em tournament and closed it out, capturing his second World Series of Poker bracelet. Kelly, who lost the chip lead for much of the final table but managed to claw back, is over $2.2 million in career WSOP earnings and fresh off a solid 2013 WSOP that saw him cash ten times and reach two final tables.

Kelly earned $195,000 for the win and told WSOP officials that it was “probably hard to top the first [bracelet in a $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event] since it was my first World Series and a $25,000 [event], but this one is still pretty cool.” He candidly added, “It’s always nice to win. It’s frustrating getting sixth and fifth.”

The Limit Hold’em tournament marked Kelly’s seventh career WSOP final table. In the last hand, Yegor Tsurikov got his chips in before the flop with 10-6 offsuit, while Kelly had J-10. The board rolled out 7-8-7-Q-9, giving Kelly a queen-high straight and the title.

He Tweeted after the event had wrapped up, “Won it woooooooo!!” Among those responding was fellow PocketFiver Lauren locoenlacabeza Kling, who posted on Twitter, “Yes!!! Congrats!!! Amazing and very well deserved. So happy for you!”

With Kelly’s win, PocketFivers are up to 14 WSOP bracelets this year through 43 events and are on pace for 21 this year. The all-time record for bracelets won by the PocketFives community is 23, set in 2011. PocketFivers got 18 bracelets in 2012, another 18 in 2013, and have captured 131 bracelets since 2004.

Elsewhere at the Rio in Las Vegas, the site of the annual WSOP, Jordan iMsoLucky0Morgan (pictured) is fourth in chips entering the final day of Event #44, a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em tournament. Morgan, who signed up for PocketFives in 2005, held the chip lead at the dinner break on Sunday.

Morgan busted Loni Harwood after winning a race with A-Q against J-J by flopping a pair of aces. That hand boosted his stack by 239,000 and he ended the day with 773,000. The field is trailing the tournament’s top dog right now, Brandon Ageloff, who bagged just over one million in chips. First place is scheduled to make $478,000 and there are 15 players left:
