On Wednesday December 23rd, the weekly Bounty tournament on the USA-friendly online poker site DoylesRoom will feature members of the Brunson 10, the hand-picked group of up-and-coming stars selected by site namesake Doyle Brunson. As an added bonus this week, a $1,000 cash bonus on top of the regular $1,000 bounty will be on the line for PocketFives.com members who knock out members of the Brunson 10. Three of the clan will be in the field to gun for: Amit amak316 Makhija, Zachary CrazyZachary Clark, and Chris moorman1 Moorman.Wednesday the 16th features the Family Christmas Bounty on DoylesRoom, which will see Doyle Brunson, Todd Brunson, and Pamela Brunson take to the virtual felts of the Cake Poker Network site. In addition, “The Mad Genius of Poker” Mike Caro and Hoyt Corkins will also play, setting up a talented field for the weekly $27.50 buy-in tournament. Any player who knocks out a bounty will receive $1,000. Any player who knocks out two bounties will see their bankroll grow by $10,000 and the granddaddy of prizes is $50,000, awarded to players who can oust three bounties from the DoylesRoom tournament. A full refund of the $27.50 entry fee is available for first-time players. In addition, the top 100 finishers in this week’s running of the Bounty will receive an autographed copy of “The Godfather of Poker,” Brunson’s autobiography. Knocking out Brunson with his signature 10-2 hand will mean an additional $5,000 will come your way, while the Bounty’s winner will also land $500 in DoylesCasino chips. Satellites begin at a paltry $0.29 and the Bounty begins at 9:30pm ET each Wednesday.

In addition to Clark, Moorman, and Makhija, other members of the Brunson 10 include Dani ansky451 Stern (pictured at right) and Alec traheho Torelli. Stern was a cast member on the hit G4 online poker reality series “2 Months, $2 Million” and also final tabled the $40,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament commemorating the 40th running of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Torelli was the runner-up in the World Championship of Heads-Up No Limit Hold’em during the 2008 WSOP for $336,000, falling to Kenny Tran, and owns two World Poker Tour (WPT) final table appearances.
Among those looking forward to Wednesday’s tournament is Moorman (pictured at left), who commented in a post on PocketFives.com, “This will be my first week playing.
