Draftpot Introduces Rake-Free Head-to-Head Contests
If you play on Draftpot, or if you need a reason to, the daily fantasy sports site just rolled out rake-free head-to-head games. These have an array of buy-ins from $1 to $1,000 and all of the money put in by players will be paid out, as no rake will be taken. Check it out.
There are plenty of rake-free head-to-head contests on tap for Week 11 of the NFL season starting on Sunday. The most expensive game is a $1,000 head-to-head contest. There are 11 of them set up in the Draftpot lobby already, so if you have the guts, know that no rake will be taken from you.
Rake-free contests can also be found with buy-ins of $500, $200, $100, $50, $20, $10, $5, $2, and $1. They exist across all sports Draftpot offers, so you can get your feet wet in a new sport and double your money by only beating one other person.
Draftpot had taken a 10% rake in head-to-head games, so the elimination of rake means more money in players’ pockets.
Draftpot has a special Fan Mode that doesn’t have a salary cap, so you can quite literally choose whichever players you want. Think Julio Jones is going to have a big week? Put him in your lineup. Think Todd Gurley is going to go off? Use him too. With no salary cap restrictions, you can fill out your roster however you see fit.
