On Sunday, Draftpotis running a $70,000 prize pool NFL Touchdown, which has a buy-in of $12. The best part is there’s no salary cap, so you can literally start whichever players you want. You think Julio Jones will go off against Tampa Bay? Put him in your lineup. You think Alshon Jeffrey will get 20 targets against the Chargers as your Monday Night Hammer? Use him too.

The top 2,114 entries in the NFL Touchdown will get paid. Although the contest likely won’t fill and therefore will have a sizable overlay, even if it did sell out, one-third of the field would finish in the money. There have been sizable overlays every week in the Touchdown, which means plenty of value for everyone who plays.

Draftpot employs PPR scoring, so the more receptions your players have, the better. You start one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, two flex players, a defense, and a kicker. I’ve found myself using one running back and one receiver in the flex spots, but with PPR, you’d need to use a pass-catching running back like Devonta Freeman or Lamar Miller for that to make sense.

The top spot in the Touchdown gets $7,000 and the top four players will make at least a thousand bucks. The minimum payout is $15.

For an even smaller field, check out the $25 buy-in $30,000 NFL Spike, which doesn’t even have 200 lineups entered at the time of writing. The top 435 players will finish in the money, which means it’s conceivable that just about everyone who enters will cash.

If you prefer salary cap games like you find on other sites, Draftpot also has those. They’re called GM Mode games. I prefer the no-salary Fan Mode games, which are quite unique in the DFS world.
