Tuesday was a day that featured multiple bracelet winners at the top of leaderboards at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. We’ll start with Dutch Boyd (pictured), who took down a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em tournament for his third WSOP victory. A field of 1,688 entrants meant a payday of $288,000 and his first gold bracelet in four years. He is fresh off releasing a new book called “Poker Tilt.”

Boyd told WSOP officials following his win, “It’s not like this win is going to change my life or anything. It’s not life-changing money for me, but it’s good to come here in the summer and prove to everyone over and over that you’re a relevant player again. Three bracelets is a pretty big accomplishment. There really is a difference between one and two, and two and three.”

According to WSOP coverage, Boyd took full advantage of the live stream of the final table, saying, “The live stream is really changing the game quite a bit. With the 30-minute delay, you can go back and see how they are playing. You are really able to balance your strategy and come up with an idea of how to get to the end. You have to figure out how to zig when they’re zagging.” The slaloming resulted in Boyd’s fourth cash of the 2014 WSOP and first final table since 2012.

Here’s how the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event’s final nine cashed out:

1st Place: Dutch Boyd – $288,744

Also on Tuesday, 2009 WSOP November Niner Eric Buchman (pictured) won his second bracelet just hours after Joe jcada99Cada, who won that year’s Main Event, also struck gold for bracelet number two.

Buchman took down a $1,500 Seven Card Stud event for $118,000 and said of his November Nine karma, “Late last night when I got home and I looked online, I saw [Joe] won the bracelet. I didn’t think it really had anything to do with me, but I did think it would be sweet if I won one also. Even though he’s won a lot more money than me, we’re still two bracelets to two bracelets.”

Buchman has now made seven career WSOP final tables. He finished fourth in the 2009 Main Event for $2.5 million and won his first bracelet one year later in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em tournament. The New Yorker is up to $3.7 million in career WSOP winnings.
