Betfair has announced a special offer for new players: receive a free 8GB iPod Touch or $200 cash for playing your first real money hand! From now until April 12th, all Betfair players who play their first real money hand automatically become eligible for this giveaway. Upon accruing 10,000 Betfair Points (equivalent to $500 rake), these players will be given a choice between a free 8GB iPod Touch or $200 in cash, on top of their 30-40% rakeback and exclusive $2,000 monthly rake race that PocketFives rakeback players participate in!

Participants in this promotion have 60 days to fulfill the requirements for the giveaway. Those who play their first real money hand on Betfair Poker between now and April 12th, but do not accumulate 10,000 Betfair Points, can still receive a free entry into a freeroll tournament in June by accruing only 1,000 points in the next 60 days. In that freeroll event, each of the top 50 finishers will receive an iPod Touch.

(Players residing outside of Europe who complete the requirements for this promotion will automatically receive the default prize of $200 cash).

    <p>so 10k points are around £500... I can buy 5 ipods with that imo</p>

    <p>Would anyone sayBetfair points are about the same dificulty to accumlate as FTP points? Just trying to guage how long it would take me.</p>
