Players who had not earned one Full Tilt Point (FTP) as of July 28th are not eligible for the Biggest Bonus Ever, which has the PocketFives.com community buzzing. If you haven’t already claimed it, download the new software from Full Tilt Poker, log in, click on the “Cashier” button, and head to “My Promotions.” Look for “Biggest Bonus Ever," click it, and follow the instructions. You’ll earn one FTP for every $1 raked in real money ring games. For tournaments and sit and gos, you’ll receive seven FTPs for every $1 in fees you pay. The Biggest Bonus Ever clears at the standard rate of $0.06 per FTP. Remember to claim yours by 23:59 ET on August 16th.
A brand new lobby is the centerpiece of the Full Tilt Poker software update. It contains a bevy of filters across the top to help you sort, including table type (ring game, tournament, and sit and go), game type (Hold’em, Omaha High, Omaha High-Low, Stud, and Mixed Games), limit (Fixed, Limit, No Limit, Mixed Limit, and Pot Limit), and stakes. The lobby will then sort accordingly, making the process of finding a game a breeze. You can also turn on “Advanced Filters” and save your search criteria as a “Favorite” for future use. Lobby widgets made their debut on Thursday. They include buttons to view a table, join a wait list, visit a tournament lobby, and register. Other widgets include a player list for ring games, tournament information, and legends for tournament and cash game tables. An FTP Odometer is also available and looks very similar to the one found on your car. More widgets rolled out by Full Tilt Poker include a Mini-Cashier, Iron Man Status, session information, and FTP Academy Challenge Status. These appear on the right side of the lobby underneath the clock. Clicking “Customize” in the bottom right of the lobby enables you to select which widgets appear.
Finally, players now have the option to log in with a special security PIN. You can find the new feature in the “Security” menu under “Additional Authentication.” Select the option called “Login with PIN.” When you try to sign onto Full Tilt Poker, a screen will pop up asking for your pin code using 13 blue, green, red, and gray cards. Three cards are needed in order to crack the PIN, which will be e-mailed to you. This prevents hackers who know a player’s user name and password from accessing an account:
