According to an update from Garden City Group, the appointed Claims Administrator for US Full Tilt Poker refunds, “It has been determined that players designated by Full Tilt Poker as ‘professionals,’ other than Team Full Tilt Players, will be able to submit Petitions for Remission to recover the portion of their account balance that is not attributable to compensation provided by FTP or affiliate revenue.”

The new designation covers Red Pros, Friends of Full Tilt, and “other players” who were not members of Team Full Tilt. Petitions can be filed on FullTiltPokerClaims.com, the official website dedicated to Full Tilt remissions, and the deadline for “professional” players to file is September 3, which is a little less than a month away.

Garden City Group sent e-mail notices to “professional” players on August 4. Garden City explained on its website, “The notices provided information and instructions for participating in the petition process. If you received an e-mail notice, please be sure to use the log-on credentials provided in the notice when you begin the petition process.”

Also clarified by Garden City Group was the topic of rakeback. The Claims Administrator noted, “The Department of Justice does not consider rakeback an affiliate payment or professional funding and will include rakeback payments in approved remission amounts. However, if rakeback was labeled by Full Tilt Poker as an affiliate payment on a particular account and was therefore deducted from the balance, it is the player’s responsibility to dispute the account balance and provide an explanation differentiating rakeback from affiliate revenue.”

Any “professional” players (Red Pros are pictured) who have already filed a petition for remission are advised to re-file using the credentials that were sent from Garden City Group. Then, “professional” players should e-mail info@fulltiltpokerclaims.com requesting that their initial submission be withdrawn.

Meanwhile, players with disputed balances have still not been reunited with their funds despite being 40 months removed from Black Friday. Speaking about players with disputed balances, Muny said, “GCG didn’t provide an update on those with disputed balances here. It looks to us like it will all go through, but will just take more time. I understand the frustration, but am glad we’re all getting our money back.”
