Recently on PokerStars, Double Vision Sunday featured two installments of the Sunday Warm-Up. The six-handed version had 2,939 entrants and ended with PocketFiver H0LDiT (pictured) taking second place for $75,000. Four of the six members of the final table were part of our community, which raked in $293,000 total.

“I’m feeling great,” H0LDiT told PocketFives in an exclusive interview. “It hasn’t been the greatest year, so it was a nice result to have just before Christmas.” The tournament was un-chopped and paid out to the top 300 finishers.

As he put it, “I ran really well, was short on a couple of occasions, got it in and held, and was on the right side of the flips when it mattered.” The cash was the largest we’ve tracked for him by more than a factor of three, trumping a Bigger $55 third place finish in 2013 for $21,000.

The same day as his Sunday Warm-Up second place finish, H0LDiT took down the Hotter $11 for another $14,000. He amassed 824 PLB Points in the process and said he’d celebrate his big day over the Christmas and New Years holidays. We talked to him just before the former and he forecasted, “I’m pretty sure the MTTs will be good over Christmas, so I’m keeping my head down.” He has six tracked cashes already in 2015.

He is one of 13 PocketFives members with PLB scores from the English county of Bedfordshire and plays on Full Tiltunder the user name Pulse ZZ. He has been playing poker on a full-time basis for the last couple of years and said, “I always played cards and strategy games growing up. Poker was an easy transition and I’ve always had a lot of love for the game. I have never gotten bored of it.”

H0LDiT is part of BBZ Staking and plans to help out his peers in 2015. He explained, “We have a group of up-and-coming players, so my main goal and focus will be helping them grow and move up in stakes over the next 12 months. Poker is not a team sport; however, it helps to have driven and motivated friendsaround me online, so I’d like to thank those people for their support. They know who they are.”

We should add that H0LDiT is at #856 worldwide in the PocketFives Rankings, up 800 spots from the time the Sunday Warm-Up took place last month.
