Frank Molinari (fnasty97on PocketFives, pictured), who lives in Moonachie, New Jersey, has been playing online poker since 2007. He plays under the handles randomrags24on WSOP.com, speedypeteon Ultimate Poker, and fnasty97on Borgata Poker.
With over $90,000 in recorded online cashes, Molinari has several notable wins under his belt. He won the WSOP.com $25,000 Guarantee Sunday Major for $7.125, the WSOP.com $5,000 Guarantee for $1,350, the Ultimate Poker $5,000 Guarantee for $1,550.

PocketFives: What got you started playing online poker?
Frank Molinari: My friend Mike Ricciardi (ECOMIKE on PocketFives) would let me play some $5 sit and gos on his poker account back in the day when we would hang out. I eventually made my own poker accounts around 2007, but didn’t begin to play often or seriously online until about a year before Black Friday.
PocketFives: What are your favorite New Jersey online poker sites to play and why?
Frank Molinari: I don’t have a favorite. I’m just making due with what I have. Borgata Poker and PartyPoker really need to change their payout structures. Ultimate was and is running some good promos and I was pretty upset about the slashing of the guarantees by so much. WSOP.com is pretty solid all around, but dealing with their customer was nightmare on the only two occasions I needed to. I’d also like it if they ran live event satellites all year and ran the $25 Rebuy, $10,000 Guarantee on Sunday
PocketFives: Since the launch of regulated online poker in New Jersey, what has been your most memorable cash or win?
Frank Molinari: I won the $25,000 Guarantee Sunday Major on WSOP.com in June after making several final tables in it previously. Shout out to ECOMIKE. He was with me that Sunday and it was great to have him there. I also had wins in the Ultimate Poker $5,000 Guarantee and WSOP.com $5,000 Guarantee where I feel I played to my full potential throughout the tournament and came away with the win.
PocketFives: To what do you attribute your current online success?
Frank Molinari: Seeing the flow, changing gears accordingly, being aware of my table image as well as other players’ images, and seeing who is capable of making moves against their image. I also only bet with the nuts, so just fold when I bet!
