Hi everyone! You may have been wondering where the PocketFives admins have been for the last day or so, or you may be aware--we left Nashville at 6 am yesterday (Wednesday) to fly out to Las Vegas for the biggest poker tournament in history!

We've been trying to take everything in, but there are certainly a couple highlights so far, mainly the PocketFives.com reception at the Imperial Palace. The turnout was fantastic, and I'm going to list here the people who attended, at least those whose names ended up on our sign in sheet:

I'm sure there were more, but these are the names we had down on our list, so please don't be offended if I left you out!

The party was a really fun time, and I enjoyed talking to everyone and putting a face on so many names. It was also great to see some people again that I hadn't seen in the last few months--overall just a really good time.

After our party ended, we moved on to the Palms, where the UB and Bodog parties were being held. I didn't see Annie at the UB party, but I did see Devilfish up on the stage with the band, playing the base--normal. Phil Hellmuth was in full UB attire, being....well....Phil. I also got to run into some other friends there I hadn't seen in a while, including cunningham and J FREE.

I got talked into a quick session of craps and blackjack with my buddies jcgoheels and gator93 (some guy went on like a 50-roll and jc was up I think 2-3 grand while I, being the low roller I am, was only up 2-3 hundred). Then we moved on into the Bodog party, which was apparently THE party in Vegas last night. I ran into Shawn Rice and a few of the afore-mentioned people, and we all hung out for a while. I was lucky enough to get invited to this party by Solidall, who won his trip online on Bodog. Thanks again, Elliott! The party was nuts, and there were a lot of very random people there. As an example, Riley got his picture taken with baseball hall-of-famer Reggie Jackson!

I just want to take a quick paragraph here to thank everyone who's done nice things for Cal, Riley, and me this trip. Keith "klslcz" Love got us set up with a great room rate and VIP treatment at Treasure Island, so we don't have to deal with long lines in the lobby and get a few other cool perks. Beanie got Cal and Riley, along with a lot of our other friends, into the Bodog party, which would have just been a shame to miss. Thanks to everyone else who has helped make this a great trip for us so far---we really enjoy being able to run this site, and it's really nice to see the appreciation people show us.
