Viktor Isildur1Blom (pictured) and Doug WCGRiderPolk had a pretty eventful weekend on the online poker felts. Their encounter during an early morning session on Saturday, according to HighStakesDB, resulted in Polk winning $450,000 from Blom in an hour’s worth of $400/$800 No Limit Hold’em. But, that was just the start to what would be a pretty epic weekend online.

Blom started a 24-hour session on Friday night, according to the tracking site, which included the $450,000 loss to Polk. After a break, the two were back at it, playing pots that included Polk’s money going in on a flop of 10-5-2, all clubs. Blom had pocket tens for a set, while Polk held Ac-Kc for the nut flush, which held on for a $490,000 score in a bit of a cooler.

Blom rebounded by winning nearly $400,000 after 5betting all-in before the flop with A-K offsuit and getting a call all-in from Polk, who was in a race with pocket queens. An ace on the flop propelled Blom into the lead for good and he raked in a $309,000 pot.

HighStakesDB detailed from there, “Another short break and a fresh set of tables couldn’t help WCGRider(pictured), as Isildur1 went into overdrive, and over the next 2 hours and 40 minutes, he won close to a million dollars from Polk, at one point sitting with a seven-figure stack at the table ‘Big Ben.’ Isildur1’s pressure was relentless and it seemed that WCGRider simply had no answer to it.” Ultimately, Blom raked in $1.3 million over the course of a 30-hour session, $1.2 million of which formerly belonged to Polk.

On Sunday, Polk rebounded by winning nearly $700,000 back from Blom, according to HighStakesDB. One pot of the session actually saw Blom come out on top. In it, Polk called all-in on the river of a board of 3-7-3-6-5 and Blom showed 7-7 for a boat to scoop $328,000. Polk mucked.

Blom is up $3.7 million online this year, according to HighStakesDB, including the hefty sum of $3.2 million in the last 30 days. Polk, who just defeated Ben Sauce1234Sulsky in the pair’s $100,000 Challenge, is up $575,000 all-time, but is down nearly $500,000 in the last 48 hours alone.
