What starts at 7:00 pm ET, offers a $25k guarantee with a 5 figure first prize? If you guessed the $100 rebuy on Ultimate Bet, then you are correct. What do you win? Well, nothing--at least not if you arent playing, and from the looks of it, most of you arent. This tournament is routinely offering an overlay, which isnt even the main reason why you should consider adding it to your schedule of play. One of UB's greatest strengths is the emphasis they put on favoring skill in tournament design. Freezeout tourneys on UB offer a great deal of room to maneuver and time to play before stacks get short. UB rebuys use the same structure and give you the opportunity to play much more deeply stacked, which should be music to the ears of creative and skilled players. <READMORE>I spoke with UB regular and Pocketfives ranked player Aaronbeen about why he likes the UB rebuys.

Lenny: How often do you play the UB $100 rebuy?

Aaronbeen: I used to play it like 4-5 times a week. Now that it only gets 40-50 players and Im busy in the afternoon I usually skip it and start at 8:00.

Lenny: What does this tourney have to offer?

Aaronbeen: Well, it is a double rebuy and double add on- which means if you dont win a single pot in the rebuy period you can still have 10,500 going into the second hour. Combine that with UBs slow blind structure and it gives you a lot of room to play.

Lenny: What does that do for you and your game?

Aaronbeen: Well, I like seeing flops and getting a chance to really play. When I play poker I want to be able to make bluffs and pick off bluffs. When everyone is pushing or re-shoving pre-flop it doesnt leave much room for finesse.

At live tournaments they always talk up the great structure they are giving you, and by that I mean deep stacks and slow structures. UBs rebuys are the closest thing to a WPT tournament you can find online.

Lenny: What is the field like?

Aaronbeen: It is fun playing with the best players online. I think Pwnasaurus is even better than some of the big names like Johnnybax and BeL0WaB0Ve.

Obviously a $100 rebuy is not a tournament for everyone, but if you are looking for an opportunity to play against great players for a juicy guaranteed prizepool in a tourney offering deepstacked poker with a generous blind structure, the UB $100 rebuy may be for you. We at PocketFives consider this tournament to be one of the best displays of poker talent online and it is a shame that it currently does not attract enough players to even be counted for the PocketFives Leader Board. So sign up, start playing, and you too can experience true deepstacked poker online.
