Jason treysfull21 Mercier(pictured) has been having an incredible few months dominating poker tournaments by just about anyone’s standards. After winning three SCOOP championships in May on PokerStars, he went on to win a bracelet in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #32: $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed for $633,357.

After just missing the official final table in the Poker Players Championship, Mercier has his sites set on his second WSOP bracelet of the year and his fourth overall with a chip lead in the WSOP Event #54: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.

Mercier is in great position heading into the third day with just 21 of the original 387 entrants remaining with close to with 1,182,000 chips and blinds at 8,000/16,000. Mercier isn’t shy about his desire to parlay his chip lead into another bracelet Tweeting to his fans, “Bagged chiplead in 10k plo. 21 left … Have 1,182,000 going to 8/16k tomorrow at 2 pm . #BraceletHunting.”

He will have to face some stiff competition to compete against for another piece of hardware and the $927,655 top prize, including many PocketFivers still in contention. Dan KingDan Smith(pictured) currently sits in third place with 924,000 chips, followed by Gionni ratboy x Demers(4th place with 881,000 chips), Davidi legrouzin Kitai(5th place with 822,000 chips), Shaun shaundeeb Deeb(9th place with 530,000 chips), Aaron aejones Jones(11th place with 488,000 chips), Patrick pleno1 Leonard(16th place with 356,000 chips), and Artem Artem205 Metalidi (17th place with 305,000 chips).

In other news, it is expected we should also see a winner in the WSOP Ladies Event. The field is down to just 10 players out of the starting 795-entrant field, with Russia’s Liya Gerasimova heading into the third day as the chip leader with 896,000 chips. This is by no means a dominating chip lead with Canada’s Parminderjit Mehmi currently sitting in second place with 865,000 chips and American Amanda Sizemore in third place with 684,000 chips.
