A stacked field of 30 players remains in Event #41 of the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP), a $3,000 No Limit Hold'em tournament. With a first place prize of nearly three-quarters of a million bucks on the line, Joseph JoeBlazenyc Chaplin (pictured) leads the way with a stack of 1.08 million, one of only two players in seven-figures. Chaplin has been a member of PocketFives since 2007 and is from New York City.HogWild Poker, a free, USA-friendly online poker site, makes PocketFives' WSOP coverage possible. Late in the day, WSOP bracelet winner Kirk Morrison doubled up at the expense of Shannon ShannonShorr Shorr. Morrison 4bet all-in before the flop after a squeeze play from Shorr and showed A-5 of spades. Shorr turned over A-Q and was well ahead when the flop came 4-3-10. Morrison picked up flush and straight draws on the turn when the 6s hit, and a 5 on the river paired his kicker. Shorr sank to 270,000 after the hand and ended with 154,000, the third shortest tally out of the 30 remaining players.
Ryan RJules12 Julius (pictured) was a late casualty of Saturday's play in Event #41. On a board of 2-4-2-4-5 with three clubs, Julius checked and Jackie Glazier, who won the Melbourne Poker Championship Main Event in May, moved all-in. Julius called for his tournament life, but shoved his cards into the muck when Glazier tabled J-10 of clubs for a flush.Coverage found on WSOP.com detailed the end of the hand between Julius and Glazier: "Julius stood stunned and Glazier shot up from her seat to go to the rail and give high fives. Julius eventually mucked and slid his remaining stack over to Glazier." Glazier is the last female standing in this event and holds the second largest stack entering the final day at 1.07 million.
Meanwhile, 2008 November Niner Scott r_a_y Montgomery busted Ryan Olisar after the money went in on a flop of 4-7-5. Montgomery was well ahead with 5-4 for two pair, while Olisar held A-Q for ace-high. No help came for Olisar on the turn or river and Montgomery stacked another 290,000 in chips. He finished the day by bagging up 554,000, good for the eighth most overall.
When play was finished on Saturday, Montgomery Tweeted, "And my 2nd Day 2 leads to my 2nd Day 3. I need to make more Day 2s... 554k in chips." On the tournament's schedule for Sunday, he added, "Coming back tomorrow at 1pm with 30 players left. Avg 418k. May or may not play down to a winner depending on the time."
John $JMONEY$ Racener (pictured) was lost on Day 2 of the $3,000 No Limit Hold'em tournament. Racener 3bet all-in pre-flop with K-Q and Frenchman Fabrice Soulier called with A-9 of clubs. Soulier flopped one 9 and turned another to solidify his edge in the hand and knock Racener out. Racener recorded his fifth in the money finish of this year's WSOP and Tweeted, "Out of 3k nlh event. Min cashed or something like that."Here are the remaining players in Event #41:

This is one of the most stacked fields we've seen entering a final day in the 2012 WSOP. Elio Fox (pictured) won last year's WSOP Europe Main Event for $1.8 million and Paul Vas Nunes won the Unibet Poker Open last August for $151,000. Montgomery and Kevin Schaffel are both former November Nine members and Dan Shak has over $3 million in career live tournament earnings. Plus, nearly half the field has signed up for a PocketFives account. It should be quite an exciting finish. When the action stopped on Saturday, the blinds were at 4,000-8,000 with an ante of 1,000.
