Every two hours, Full Tilt Poker will dole out cash to the top players on a series of four leader boards. Which leader board you fall under depends on what level of sit and go you're playing. Full Tilt members grinding away in $1 and $2 sit and gos fall under Group A, $5 to $11 sit and go players fall under Group B, $20 to $33 sit and go players will be tracked in Group C, and high-stakes players up to $110 sit and gos appear in Group D. Here is a look at the payouts for each group every two hours:
The number of points you'll get for playing in a sit and go can be calculated by multiplying the total prize pool (the buy-in times the number of entrants) and dividing it by your position. Then, take the square root of that number (pull out your TI-85 if needed). Sit and gos that start with fewer than 500 chips only receive half of the standard number of points.
In addition to the two hour-long leader boards, there is also an overall leader board of players who record the most number of points during a two hour period. The top two players on each group's leader board will battle it out in a special $5,000 freeroll that takes place on April 4th. In it, the top three places will pay. In total, there will be quite a bit of cash up for grabs as part of Full Tilt Poker's Sit and Go Madness, more than $75,000 to be exact.
If that all weren't enough, there's also a special raffle that will take place concurrently with the promotion. For every qualifying sit and go that you take down, you'll be awarded one raffle ticket. Big deal, right? Full Tilt is pulling out all of the stops when it comes to its raffle prizes. Its big ticket item is a full-blown Full Tilt Poker table package. It includes a free-standing poker table, 500 piece chipset, a black leather deck case, and a red leather deck case. One of these will be given away and it will instantly make your home game the best around.
Other prizes to be given out during the raffle include entries into the Main Event of the upcoming Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) as well as buy-ins to Events 1 and 10. MiniFTOPS entries will also be up for grabs in the same tournaments. As reported on PocketFives.com on Wednesday when its schedule was announced, FTOPS XII consists of 25 traditional buy-in events plus a MiniFTOPS series where the price tags are one-tenth of the norm. It gets underway on May 3rd.
Satellite tokens and Full Tilt gear round out the prizes to be given away during the raffle, over 1,000 in total. The names will be drawn after the festivities have concluded on Sunday. It all happens this weekend, only as part of Full Tilt Poker's Sit and Go Madness.
