United States poker player Leif drawgle Force entered Day 6 of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event in 10th place with 79 players remaining at over 4.7 million chips. He ultimately finished the tournament in 21st place for $286,000.

Force hails from Tallahassee, Florida and is no stranger to big-time poker, as he has over $2.2 million in live tournament cashes. Force hit the global poker spotlight back in 2006 with an impressive run in that year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. He eventually bowed out short of the final table in 11th place, which was good enough for a sizeable $1.15 million.

Force has had success in other big buy-in events. He came in second place in the $10,000 WPT No Limit Hold’em Championship Event in Biloxi, Mississippi for $316,000 in 2011.

Force has also proven himself in other games outside of No Limit Hold’em. In January 2008, Force won a $1,070 Pot Limit Omaha WSOP Circuit event in Tunica for almost $59,000. To prove he also still had the skills in poker’s most popular game, a couple of months later, he won a $540 Venetian Deep Stack Event for almost $41,000.

Force truly became a force to be reckoned with after winning a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2012 in a $3,000 No Limit Hold’em / Pot Limit Omaha Heads-Up event for $208,000, with his final match pitted against poker superstar Jason JAKoon1985 Koon. Force also finished in sixth place a couple of years earlier in a $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low event for over $65,000.

Force had a close call for a win earlier in 2014 with a second place finish in a Planet Hollywood tournament for almost $74,000. He also has some WSOP momentum going into the Main Event, with a 13th place finish in a $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event for almost $45,000.
