Maxx Coleman from Derby, Kansas went into Day 6 of the 2013 WSOP Main Event with 6,260,000 in chips. Coleman is relatively unknown on the live poker scene with a shade over $26,000 in total cashes; however, is well known in the online poker scene, where he is known on PocketFives as mc4chess.

Coleman has over $750,000 in online cashes and is no stranger to the big scene. Under the screen name MCLegend, Coleman took second place in the PokerStars Sunday Million on February 1, 2009 for an impressive haul of $125,167.

Going into Day 4 of the 2013 WSOP Main Event, Coleman was the chip leader with 1,071,500 chips with the money bubble to come later in the day. During Day 4, Coleman got involved in a big pot with Juan Pena. With about 160,000 in the pot, Pena checked with K-J on a board of 3-T-7-8-5. Coleman then value bet 88,000 in chips and Juan Pena check-shoved all-in for 303,000 chips. Coleman went into the tank and eventually called with J-J, putting an end to Pena’s Main Event run and bringing Coleman to more than 1.3 million in chips.

On Day 5, Coleman was involved in a couple of big pots. With the blinds at 20,000/40,000, Coleman min-raised from early position with J-J, which Robert Sichelstiel called from middle position with A-A. Clement Tripodi defended the big blind. The J-T-9 flop was kind to Coleman, who bet 140,000 chips, after Tripodi checked.

Sichelstiel fired out a big raise to 640,000 in chips, which Tripodi folded to. With a draw-heavy board, Coleman 3bet all-in for 1,785,000 in chips, which Sichelstiel reluctantly called after tanking for a few minutes. With the subsequent streets not bringing an ace for Sichelstiel, Coleman took down a huge pot and saw his chip count grow to 3.9 million.

Later in the hour, Coleman found himself with A-A. Nick Schwarmann was all-in with K-K and found himself involved in a cooler in deep play. When the flop came A-2-9, Schwamann was all but drawing dead and Coleman found himself with over 6 million in chips near where he ended the day.
