Here’s something we’ve never seen before: Chris moorman1Moorman (pictured), the most decorated member of the PocketFives community, has officially passed $9 million in tracked online MTT scores. To put the U.K. resident’s complete dominance of the community in perspective, the next highest tracked cash total belongs to daisyxoxo, who is just short of $6.3 million. You do the math.

Moorman has a record-setting 13 Triple Crownsspread out over a six-year period. He recorded his most recent one last month after victories on Full Tilt, PartyPoker, and PokerStars for 560.24 PLB Points over the course of a week. We’re not sure what else we can say to back up the fact that Moorman is one of the most talented poker players on the planet. Did we mention he won the 2009 Yearly PLB race and has been one of the most consistent players you’ll find?

Another U.K. PocketFiver, barradri, called out the PocketFives content team in a thread in Poker Community on Sunday: “Sorry, longtime member but not a poster, just wondering why this has not been reported [that Moorman reached $9 million]. I’m a fan boy (obv) and don’t mind this being my first thread. $9 million in cashes wow, just wow when you consider his closest rival.” Don’t let it be said that we’re not responsive.

The next badge on Moorman’s radar is $10 million, and he’s the lone member of the community to sport a $7.5 million cash badge. To that end, Lithuania’s wackyJaxonforecasted, “Chris is a true legend. I’d be surprised if we didn’t see him get his $10M badge soon.” Moorman earned his $7.5 million badge in November 2011.

What’s really impressive about Moorman is his prowess both on and off the virtual felts. He is fresh off competing in the 2013 National Heads-Up Poker Championship, where he defeated Carlos Mortensen in the first round before falling to Dan Cates in the round of 32.

Moorman has come on strong on the live circuit, finishing second in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Six Handed Championship at the 2011 World Series of Poker for $716,000 and also taking second in that year’s WSOP Europe Main Event for another $1 million. According to the Hendon Mob, Moorman has tallied $2.7 million in live MTT earnings, which is good for 14th on the all-time money list for England.

We asked Moorman for one helpful piece of advice he has received over the years. His nugget, which came from recent Sunday Million final tablst geeforce1, was “If you never look silly, you aren’t making enough moves.”

Congrats to Moorman on his big $9 million superlative.
