Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for August 15, 2014
In Nevada, WSOP.com ran all four $3,000 events as scheduled in addition to having a Tuesday ESPN play-a-long $2,500 Guaranteed event. All four of the $3,000 events exceeded the guarantees. There were 318 runners with a total prize pool of 18,775 vying for the 44 available payouts.
The player with the highest cash win on WSOP.com was Nutsinurfacewith a payout of $1,320 for taking down Wednesday night’s event in his first final table in the $3,000 Nightly events. He is a regular at the later night events with six final tables in the Midnight Mayhem as well as in the $10 at 10:00pm and the $9.90 Knockout.
This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. All but the Thursday event, which had an overlay of $225, exceeded the guarantees. There were 104 runners generating a prize pool of $10,463 and paying a total of 17 spots.
The highest cashing player on Ultimate Poker this week was TheGoat2121, winning Monday night’s event for $1,346. He finished in second place on Tuesday night for $614 and third on Sunday night for $443.
Of note, PocketFives member JaminOnFaces had three more cashes this week and now has almost $34,000 in winnings from both sites this year.
