Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for June 27, 2014
In Nevada, WSOP.com ran three of its $3,000 events as scheduled. On Wednesday, the site ran a special satellite for two $1,500 seats to the 2014 World Series of Poker. All of the events exceeded the guarantees. There were 304 runners for a total prize pool of $21,975.
Four players won seats to any upcoming $1,500 WSOP event. Those players were Phantom_11, dudasdb, djmacjr, and ganswer. Over fifty $1,500 event tickets have been awarded this year to date.
The player with the highest cash win was Mr_McSpewins with a payout of $1,566 for taking down Tuesday night’s event. Mr_McSpewins has made nine final tables and has won over $6,000 this year. It was his first takedown.
This week, Ultimate Poker held three of its four tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. There were 80 runners generating a prize pool of $8,508 and paying a total of 13 spots.
The highest cash this week on Ultimate Poker went to Sunday420for $1,364 for taking down Tuesday night’s event. It was his 27th cash and brings his winnings to over $20,000 for the year.
