We are seeing a lot of new names on both regulated Nevada poker sites for the first time and wonder if this is the result of the Full Tilt Poker remission process. We will try to see if any of these players are willing to share their stories with us.

WSOP.com ran three of its $3,000 events as scheduled. On Wednesday, the site ran a special satellite for two $1,500 seats to any 2014 World Series of Poker $1,500 event. All of their events exceeded the guarantees. There were 262 runners vying for 33 prizes totaling $15,975.

The players with the highest valued prizes won were PokerStars and VegasJF, each winning a $1,500 seat to an upcoming 2014 WSOP event. It was PokerStars’ first win of the year and VegasJF’s second. Neither of these players was seen at a final table at all last year.

The player with the highest cash win was SuGaRaY71 with a payout of $1,268, taking down Thursday night’s event. This is SuGaRay71’s fifth time cashing in these major events this year. He is starting to show consistency in making the final tables, having first been seen on December.

This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,500 Nightly events. There were 120 runners generating a prize pool of $12,512 and paying a total of 19 spots. The highest cash this week went to POSTA for $1,474. The last time we saw POSTA win an event was in the UPC2 series last year. At that time, POSTA took down Event #13 for $23,878.

The new guy on the block on Ultimate Poker to keep an eye on is The Agnostic, who is showing up at the final tables of the Big 25 Series as well as the $2,500 nightly events.

The following are the tournament results for this week from Ultimate Poker and WSOP.com, the two legal and regulated online poker sites in Nevada. Check out PocketFives’ Nevada poker community for the latest news and discussion from Nevada players.
