Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for May 23, 2014
In Nevada this week, WSOP.com ran three of its four $3,000 events as scheduled. On Wednesday, the site ran a special satellite for three $1,500 seats to the 2014 World Series of Poker. All of their events exceeded the guarantees. There were 255 runners and a total prize pool of $18,625.
The players with the highest valued prizes won were indydunn, rhin0, and dobie88, each winning a $1,500 seat to an upcoming WSOP event.
The player with the highest cash win was TEEPSwith a payout of $1,435 for taking down Thursday night’s event. TEEPS also won Tuesday night’s event for $1,355. With ten final tables this year, TEEPS has won over $5,800. Starting the week off, DnAssistanttook first place for $1,264 on Monday night. This was his second cash.
This week, Ultimate Poker held three of its four scheduled tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. There were 69 runners generating a prize pool of $7,281 and paying a total of 12 spots. The highest cash this week went to BadBeatfor $1,023 after winning Monday night’s event. BadBeat finished second on Thursday night for $546, which brings his total cashes to almost $5,000 in five final tables.
