Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for October 17, 2014
This week in Nevada, nine PocketFives members cashed in 14 events for over $9,000, with Josh Reynoldswinning over $3,300 for final tabling three events. Christina lindeyloo22Lindley, asianhustler, and voff each made two final tables, winning over $2,500 collectively.
WSOP.com ran all four $3,000 events as scheduled. All of the events exceeded the guarantees. In addition, each day, a Fall Festival event was held. This series began on October 12 and ends on October 19. There were 566 runners with a total prize pool of $41,782.
The player with the largest cash was norcal83with a payout of $2,702 for taking down Tuesday night’s Fall Festival Event #3. This was the second final table norcal83 has made in 2014. The previous final table was a sixth place finish in a Sunday $15,000 event last March for $1,123.
Of note, first-time final tables for the following people resulted in first place finishes: 1KingStack in the $3,000 Monday, Wildwoodboyin Fall Poker Festival Event #2, and altruizinein the $3,000 Thursday.
This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. There were 65 runners generating a prize pool of $6,822 and paying a total of 11 spots. The Wednesday night event had an overly of $498, as the guarantee was not met.
The highest cash this week went to bansmanfor $1,167. He has now cashed in 25 events on Ultimate Poker, with wins in six events. bansman has won over $14,000 in 2014.
