Nevada Weekend Tournament Review for January 12, 2015
This weekend in Nevada, eight PocketFives members made it to 13 final tables, cashing for over $10,000 collectively. lindeyloo22brought home the most cash by finishing fifth in the WSOP Winter Poker Classic Main Event for $3,233. MrBeaumont‘s (pictured) three cashes in the $3K Nightly events netted him over $2,800 for his efforts. Handsomemaxx had three cashes and won over $1,100.
WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with six of its seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee and Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee on Saturday and the Freezeout on Sunday. The $15,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee was replaced with Event #8 of the Winter Poker Classic, the $25,000 Main Event. WSOP.com had 777 runners vying for the 89 available prizes, totaling $86,117.
The player with the highest individual cash was Don_Key in the $25,000 Winter Poker Classic Main Event for $11,914 and a WSOP Championship Ring. This was a great way to start off 2015.
