This weekend in New Jersey online poker, there was a new champion crowned in the Borgata/PartyPoker$50K Guarantee Sunday Major, phatdaddy, who took down the tournament for $8,250. Meanwhile, CharlieBrown (money4baconon PocketFives) finished eighth in the $50K. The WSOP.com$25K Guarantee saw a decline in runners this weekend. The past two times, it had 100+ players, but this weekend saw only 90 entrants for WSOP’s flagship Sunday major, with jmzit2utaking it down. Back on December 2, he finished third in the same tournament. RonSwansonfinal tabled both the WSOP.com $5K on Saturday and the $10K guarantee Sunday Major.

888.comincreased its Big Sunday prize pool to a $10K guarantee, which also involved increasing the buy-in to $200. Last weekend, this same tournament was a $3,000 guarantee with a $150 buy-in. A couple of PocketFivers (brian eckstromand sizzlinbetta) final tabled this event.
