I’m a bit of a sucker for Let-it-Ride poker, especially after I’ve had a few. One hot streak in a little casino in Metropolis, Illinois and I was hooked for life. I guess hitting quad sixes will do that to you. So, one of the best parts about the game (besides being sooooted, obv) is being dealt a “no-brainer”, which is a pair of tens or better in your starting three cards. You get to slide your cards up under your three bets and smugly wave your hand, “Let it Ride, dealer”. Well Pokerstars has brought us a promotion worthy of the title “No Brainer” this week. They are holding five $1 entry tournaments with $5k added to the prizepool of each one! These tourneys are a membership drive for the Poker Player’s Alliance and they are open to all U.S. resident Pokerstars players. <READMORE>

The tourneys start each night this week, Monday through Friday at 9:30 ET. Registration begins 2 hours ahead of start time and it is capped at 8,000 players, but with an hour to go the first tournament only has just over 100 people registered, so we shouldn’t have any worries there. Also, this may be the one to jump into if it stays low to maximize your value! You can only enter these promo tourneys once this week, so don’t worry about trying to catch them all, just pick the one that works best for you.

By entering the tournament, you agree to become an introductory (free) member of the Poker Players Alliance and grant Pokerstars the right to pass along your information (name, address, e-mail, and date of birth) to the PPA. Please make sure your address registered with Pokerstars is correct. Many of us are already members of the PPA, and if you aren’t I encourage you to join. The PPA is currently fighting to preserve our right to enjoy this game that we love in the privacy of our own homes. What better way to sign up than take advantage of a sweet +EV situation courtesy of Pokerstars?

If you don't plan on playing in any of these promotional tourneys and still haven't signed up with the PPA, please do so at www.pokerplayersalliance.org.
