Event #10 of the 2015 World Series of Poker is down to its final two. The $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up event began with 143 entrants and on Thursday we’ll see the dramatic conclusion between Paul paulgees81Volpe (pictured) and Keith Lehr.

Volpe and Lehr have been to the Promised Land before. Volpe won a WSOP bracelet last year in a $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Single Draw event, while Lehr won one in 2003 in a $3,000 PLO tournament. Therefore, one of them is guaranteed a second gold bracelet on Thursday.

According to coverage on WSOP.com, Volpe was a one-man wrecking crew on Wednesday: “Volpe started the day off against another top pro, Barry Hutter. He defeated Hutter after a long battle and dispatched of his next two opponents very quickly. Volpe defeated Isidro Sifuentes in the round of eight and Matthew Cooper in the final four. Both matches were won by Volpe in a short amount of time.”

Lehr edged out Jake Schindler, Valeriu Coca (pictured), and Dee Tiller en route to the finals.

According to a thread on Two Plus Two and comments on Twitter from Kevin Kevmath Mathers, there are allegations against Coca of cheating in the tournament. Mathers Tweeted, “From what I’ve heard, Coca hasn’t been paid pending an investigation… There’s a lot of anecdotal evidence, depends on what the WSOP finds out when they look at the tapes.”

Connor blanconegro Drinan was one of the players to lose to Coca and said on Two Plus Two, “Our speculation is that he was using some sort of invisible ink in combination with special sunglasses.” We’ll have an in-depth article about the allegations later on Thursday.

In any case, Coca is out and it’s Volpe and Lehr for the title on Thursday. The winner will get $334,000 and a gold bracelet, while the runner-up pockets $206,000.
