A $216 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament took place as part of the 14th Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) on Friday. A total of 2,803 players turned out and, when the dust settled on the melee, Steven PiKappRaider Burkholder (pictured at right) and SaulGood settled on a heads-up chop, with the former banking $102,000 and officially taking down the event. SaulGood earned a not-so-paltry $85,000 for his efforts and the top 279 spots paid out. The tournament, the 20th of the ongoing FTOPS schedule, broke its guarantee by 40%. Let’s check in on the results.

Joining Burkholder and SaulGood at the final table of FTOPS XIV Event #20 was Puerto Rican online poker player Prophet. He earned a solid $54,000 for his third place showing and was the first player to finish outside of the heads-up chop. One month ago, Prophet took down the PokerStars $15,000 Guaranteed for $4,300 and, in September, final tabled the Full Tilt Fifty-Fifty for $3,000. David cairns1987 Cairns (pictured at left) placed fifth in Friday’s FTOPS contest for $28,000. Cairns is a former FTOPS event winner, having taken down the first tournament of FTOPS XI earlier this year for $216,000.
Two other members of the online poker community made the final table of Event #20, including LuckyLukeKK, who hails from Norway. LuckyLukeKK nabbed sixth place for $19,000, about one-eighth of his $165,000 payday that he recorded for finishing as the runner-up in the PokerStars Sunday Million in late September. Rounding out the final table on Friday was Shyam s_Dot111 Srinivasan, whose eighth place performance was worth $9,000. Here is how the final table shook out in the $216 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event:

1. UFman2 - $102,240 (PiKappRaider)
2. SaulGood - $85,000 (SaulGood)
3. SmokeChoke - $54,378 (Prophet)
4. TIGR778 - $40,924
5. muckducks - $28,591 (cairns1987)
6. LuckyLukeKK - $19,060 (LuckyLukeKK)
7. 007-2053 - $12,894
8. S_Dot111 - $8,970 (s_Dot111)
9. Tarsis - $6,727

The 21st event of FTOPS XIV was a $322 buy-in Limit Razz Six-Max tournament that boasted a $150,000 guaranteed purse. A total of 493 players tossed their hats into the ring and Frank gator93 Hernandez (pictured at right) earned $5,400 for his sixth place showing. Hernandez boosted his bankroll by over $350,000 after several top showings in the inaugural PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) in April.

After Hernandez, the inaugural PocketFives.com Open winner, hit the skids in Event #21, a five-way chop occurred. BaDnEwS216 grabbed the win and $18,000, while Moleon captured the largest payday at over $19,000. Here’s a look at how the Limit Razz Six-Max final table panned out:

1. BaDnEwS216 - $18,060
2. fulltiltok - $19,217
3. NES_Pro - $17,277
4. Moleon - $19,240
