If you blinked, you missed the last six days of March. Members of the PocketFives community scored eight Triple Crowns in six days to end the month, one of the busiest spurts we’ve ever had. To put it in perspective, there were more Triple Crowns awarded in the last six days of March than there were the rest of the month combined.

We’ve had 35 Triple Crowns awarded so far in 2015 and are on pace for 120 this year. There were 138 Triple Crowns given out in 2014 after we awarded a record 208 in 2013. A PocketFives Triple Crown requires a person to win three $10,000 prize pool tournaments across three sites tracked by PocketFives in a seven-day period. Each tournament has to have at least 100 entrants and at least a $10,000 prize pool, and satellites do not count.

You’ll notice that veeea scored two Triple Crowns during the period and actually won 10 tournaments in 10 days. Meanwhile, PokerKaiser (pictured above) won his 14th Triple Crown, the second most of any PocketFiver.
