After being as high as #2 in the PocketFives Poker Rankingsin 2011, Toby 810ofclubsLewis (pictured) is once again making a run at the top. This week, he moved up from #7 worldwide to #4 with 7,462 PLB Points. Lewis has $4.2 million in online winnings in his PocketFives profile, $2.5 million of which has come on PokerStars.

The Brit hit it big last month in a SCOOP $1,050 Wrap-Up event for $214,000 after placing second. The score was worth 882 PLB Points and has helped him steadily climb his way toward the top of the Rankings. Lewis is the #2 ranked player in the United Kingdom and tops in the county of Hampshire.

Longtime PocketFiver Mark dipthrong Herm moved up 17 spots and can currently be found at #20. Herm won the PokerStars $109 Turbo Cubed on PokerStars earlier this month for $10,000 and has $4.3 million in online scores. He was ranked as high as #5 in the world four years ago.

The World Series of Poker in Las Vegas provided an opportunity for players to get a leg up on their peers who are camped out in the US, where sites like PokerStars and Full Tilt Pokeraren’t available. Take Latvia’s sikosomatik, for example, who rose 24 spots to settle at #52 on the strength of a win in the PokerStars.fr Sunday High Roller for $14,000 and 270 points. It was his fifth cash of at least $10,000 since the beginning of May.

Gaining 25 spots in the Rankings this week was Portugal’s rs23p5, who is #61 in the world and won the PokerStars Bigger $11 on Sunday for $20,000 and 420 points. He final tabled a SCOOP $2,100 Super Knockout last month for $43,000 and has six scores of at least $10,000 this year. rs23p5 is the second-ranked player in Portugal, where he lives in the northern city of Maia.

Russia’s veeea (pictured), who was ranked as high as #14 on PocketFives last year, reentered the top 100 at #77. He final tabled the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy on the first day of June and has won three MTTs since then to bring his career total to 138 victories. He’s at $2.6 million in winnings in his PocketFives profile and is #3 in Russia.

One day before his country plays host to the World Cup, Brazil’s joaomathias reentered the top 100 at #83, six spots behind veeea. He finished second in the Full Tilt Poker $250,000 Guaranteed last month for $38,000 and recorded three tracked wins last Sunday, including two PLO tournaments on PokerStars.
