Last year, Chris Big HuniHunichen (pictured) peaked as high as #3 worldwide in the PocketFives Online Poker Player Rankings. Now, after a nine-spot jump, he is back in the top 10 at #9 worldwide. On Tuesday, Hunichen won the PokerStars Super Tuesday for over $100,000 officially and booked a 738-PLB Point windfall. Once that score is added to his PLB tally, he’ll likely climb even higher when the Rankings are recalculated next Wednesday.

On December 8, Hunichen won the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy and cashed for $67,000 officially along with 606 PLB Points. Incredibly, of the five largest scores in online MTTs that PocketFives has tracked for Hunichen, two have come in the last 10 days. It’s no wonder he’s back in the top 10 with his sights set on the top spot.

There was very little movement in the top 10 of the Rankings this week, as mindgamer retained the #1 spot, although he is a scant 12 PLB Points ahead of second place. mindgamer, who calls Austria home, became #1 for the first time last week and won the Double Vision Sunday Million on PokerStars on the first day of December for $222,000.

Hungary’s breeth (pictured) burst back into the top 100 this week and landed at #20 worldwide. He was once ranked as high as #3 in 2009 and took down the PokerStars Sunday Million over the weekend for nearly 1,300 PLB Points. He had two five-figure scores in a two-day span three weeks ago after winning the PokerStars $215 Weekly Turbo and final tabling an FTOPS event for a combined $37,000. He owns 99 wins in tracked tournaments, just one victory shy of #100.

England’s Seba29072, who could be found in the top 10 worldwide earlier this year, settled up 41 spots to #35. He is officially over $3 million in tracked scores and won the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy four days ago for 563 PLB Points. Seba29072 is the top ranked PocketFiver in Newcastle Upon Tyne and plays as bassysaffari on PokerStars and PartyPoker.

Perched at #60 worldwide, up 23 spots on the week, is Uruguay’s rph. The top ranked player in the South American nation has a pair of tracked wins this month and was ranked as high as #26 in the world last year. He plays as zugzwang16 on PokerStars and PartyPoker, while on Full Tilt, you can spot him under the regal screen name luisxiv.

Finally, Ontario’s Samuelbt entered the top 100 this week to settle at his highest spot ever, #69. His real name is Samuel Tsehai and he took down the PokerStars Hot $75 five days ago for $10,000. Also this month, Tsehai won the PokerStars $100 Rebuy for $11,000. He is the #5 ranked player in Ontario and tops in the city of Whitby.
