With impressive result after impressive result, we suppose it was only a matter of time until CrownUpGuy(pictured) became the #1 player in the PocketFives Poker Rankings. This week, he moved up two spots and officially became the new top dog on our site. His poker resume is quite impressive, as the Austrian won the WCOOP Main Event, Full TiltSunday Major, and PokerStars Sunday 500 in back-to-back-to-back months (September, October, November).

He only returned 19 online MTT scores in November, but has still managed to pile up $2.7 million in lifetime winnings across 499 cashes, an average of $5,449 apiece. He has five scores of at least $50,000 and 13 of at least $10,000.

For the first time in a few weeks, we had a new entrant into the top 10, Finland’s European, who rose from #16 to #10. European won a $320 NLHE Six-Max tournament on PokerStars on Tuesday for $10,000. Over the weekend, he took down a $215 Weekly Six-Max NLHE tournament on the same site for another $15,000. European was ranked as high as #3 on PocketFives earlier this year.

Mexico’s norfair18 shot up 26 spots in the Rankings from #74 to #48. He just passed $1 million in career winnings and won a $215 Weekly Turbo NLHE tournament on PokerStars on Saturday for $19,000. This is the highest he has ever been slotted and he is #2 in his home country.

Longtime PocketFiver Mark dipthrong Herm (pictured) debuted in the top 100 at #54 after winning two FTOPS events this month. He took down a $530 Mixed 10-Game Six-Max event for $18,000 and, three days later, emerged victorious from the field of a $109 NLHE Rush Rebuy for another $17,000. All told, he won five MTTs over the first seven days of December.

PocketFiver StrungOut1 also debuted in the top 100 this week and entered at #58. He took down the Hotter $75 on Sunday for $25,000 and is up to $3.4 million in career online tournament winnings. He was once ranked as high as #28 worldwide and seems to be poised for another run at the top.

Finally this week, we wanted to highlight Sweden’s Pot4teUS, who cracked the top 100 at #75 in the world, his highest position ever. He won the Saturday Super Knockout for $26,000 over the weekend on PokerStars, where he plays under the user name TanTanSWE.
