PocketFives Rankings Update: huiiiiiiiiii Cracks Top 10 for First Time

The PocketFives Rankingswere recalculated on Wednesday and Austria’s huiiiiiiiiii(pictured) cracked the top 10 for the first time. He is the owner of $2.6 million in tracked online poker scores and has had a cavalcade of success recently, finishing second in an FTOPS event for $28,000, winning a Sunday Six-Max event for $14,000, and taking second in the PokerStars Saturday Super Knockout for $19,000. All three of those scores are from November 23 or later.

You can find huiiiiiiiiii at #9 worldwide, up 10 spots on the week. Earlier this year, he won the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy, cashing in for $52,000 officially. He has eight tracked scores of at least $30,000.

The Brit has 7,678 PLB Points, about 200 more than Sheater, who sits in second place on the worldwide leaderboard, up four spots on the week. Sheater just hit $4 million in tracked scores and finished second in the opening iPOPS event on the iPoker Network over the weekend for $36,000. He won the Full Tilt Saturday Six-Max earlier this month and put away $12,000.

One of the largest jumps of the week went to England’s Jareth East, who is known on PocketFives as jareth3542. He moved up from #72 worldwide to #43 on the strength of a win in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl over the weekend for $51,000 and over 500 PLB Points. He is the top ranked player in Surrey and #6 out of nearly 3,000 players with PLB scores in the UK.

Re-entering the top 100 at #59 worldwide was Vancouver’s pistons87, whose real name is Ankush Mandavia (pictured). He won the PokerStars Bigger $22 last weekend for $28,000 and recently brought home the gold in the site’s Sunday $100 Rebuy for $61,000 officially. He has three tracked online MTT victories since November 13 and owns $1.5 million in winnings.

Jumping to his highest spot ever in the Rankings was Croatia’s Goran mandza17Mandic, who entered the top 100 at #62 this week. On November 23, Mandic hit it big in the PokerStars $215 Weekly Turbo NLHE and Full Tilt $1K Saturday, pulling out wins in both tournaments for $44,000 total. He is the top ranked online player in the Croatia poker community and has been a member of PocketFives for about 10 days.
