It has been a rough go for #1 players in the PocketFives Online Poker Rankingsas of late. Since last October, no one has held the top spot on our leaderboard for more than four weeks and we have seen the guard change 17 times. This week, Sweden’s r4ndomr4gs claimed the #1 spot for the first time ever.

r4ndomr4gs received his $4 million cash badge on May 21 and won a SCOOP $2,100 NLHE Progressive Super Knockout for $150,000 and 906 PLB Points two weeks ago. All told in May, he has piled up a quarter-of-a-million dollars in tracked scores across 86 in the money finishes for an average of $2,900 apiece. This is his first stint at #1.

After reentering his screen names into his PocketFives profile, TheLipoFund(pictured above) reentered the Rankings at #8, his highest position ever. He has $5.5 million in tracked cashes total, including a PokerStarsSuper Tuesday win and third place finish this year for $220,000 combined. He calls Mexico home and plays on 888 Pokerunder the user name weneedit.

Shooting up from #34 to #9 this week was Bryan bparisParis, who was ranked #5 on PocketFives earlier this year. Paris won the Super Tuesday eight days ago for $108,000 and 758 PLB Points and took down the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan over the weekend for $13,000 as a follow-up performance. He is just a few thousand dollars away from passing $7 million lifetime and has the seventh largest cash total of anyone on our site.

Entering the top 100 at #56 in the world was Smurfehits, who final tabled the Sunday Million over the weekend for $106,000 and nearly 600 PLB Points. The Norway pokerplayer can be found under the user name fullhouseiiion PokerStars and generally plays as Smurfehits on other sites. He is the top-ranked Norwegian and once was as high as #28 on PocketFives earlier this year.

Austria’s Schildy1984 (pictured) moved up 29 spots to #59 this week and just hit $6 million in tracked scores. He finished second in the Sunday Brawl over the weekend and bagged $26,000. Last week, he won an FPS tournament on PokerStars.fr, which was good for $15,000 and 289 PLB Points. Schildy1984 is the fourth-ranked player in Austria and was #6 worldwide on PocketFives last year.

After getting supplanted by Sweden for the top spot in the PocketFives Country Poker Rankings in February, Canada is making a comeback, holding three of the top nine spots worldwide. Sweden, by comparison, has three of the top five, including the top two. There are five countries represented in the top ten:
