PocketFives Rankings Update: norfair18 Up 23 Spots to #6

It’s Wednesday, which means the PocketFives Online Poker Rankingshave been recalculated. Up 23 spots this week to settle at #6, his highest position ever, is norfair18(pictured). In the last eight days, this Mexico-based poker player has won the PokerStarsSuper Tuesday and PartyPoker $100,000 Guaranteed for a healthy $140,000 combined.

norfair18 earned his second PocketFives Triple Crownon February 17, a feat that included taking down the Super Tuesday, and he is up to $1.3 million in career online tournament winnings. He plays under the user name aggr0vatedon sites like 888 Poker and Party.

Also new to the top 10 in the world this week was David Davidp18 Peters, who moved up four spots to #8. Peters was the runner-up in the PokerStars Bigger $55 over the weekend for $33,000 and his #8 ranking is his best ever. Peters is a nine-year member of PocketFives and is the top dog in Canada.

The third and final new entrant into the top 10 was MendaLerenda, who moved up two spots to land at an all-time high of #9. This UK player has six tracked wins in the last two weeks, bringing his career total to 96. He is the #2 ranked player in the UK and plays under the screen name OMGMendaon Party.

Finally this week, we wanted to single out Russia’s Max decay Lykov, who reentered the top 100 at #56. He won the Sunday Six-Max over the weekend for $25,000 and has three scores of at least $10,000 this month. Lykov was ranked as high as #6 on PocketFives two years ago.
