PocketFives Rankings: veeea Up to #2

It’s Wednesday, which means the PocketFives Rankingshave been recalculated. And making waves this week in a big way was Russia’s veeea (pictured), who climbed six spots to #2 in the world and is knocking on the door of the top spot in all the land.

As you might have read earlier this week, veeea turned in a blockbuster Sunday, winning the Sunday Million and Bigger $109 outrightfor a combined $224,000. He amassed 1,600 PLB Points with just those two cashes and now has 7,733, which is about 500 off the #1 spot held by Sweden’s eisenhower1. This is the highest veeea has ever been ranked on PocketFives. Can he make it to the top? You’ll have to tune in next Wednesday to find out.

We had one newcomer to the top 10 worldwide this week, Canada’s cswami. He reentered the top 10 at #9 thanks to a pair of wins in recent days. cswami captured gold in the 888 Poker Sunday Crocodile for $15,000 and took down the PokerStars $109 No Limit Hold’em Cubed two days later, adding $6,700 to his bankroll. Over the weekend, he finished third in the Sunday 500 for $34,000.

Russia’s Ravic85 moved up 30 spots to #21 after winning the PokerStars Sunday Supersonic 10 days ago for $42,000. That was his third largest score ever and brought his career win total to 69. Ravic85 calls Moscow home, where he’s the top-ranked player. This is the highest he has ever been in the PocketFives Rankings.

Right behind the Russian on the leaderboard is Malta’s SvZff, aka Steven van Zadelhoff, who moved up 68 spots from #90 to #22. He won the Sunday Warm-Up over the weekend and netted $80,000 along with over 700 PLB Points. Within 24 hours, van Zadelhoff also took down the Winamax High Roller and PokerStars Hot $55 for a combined $24,000.

After signing up for PocketFives and entering his screen names, Sweden’s Greenstone25 debuted at #35 in the Rankings. He has $7.3 million in career online tournament winnings, including an FCOOP All in for Africa win in 2013 for $158,000. Greenstone25 final tabled the PokerStars Super Tuesday a few weeks ago and has 436 top-three finishes.

Finally this week, we wanted to talk about a familiar face in the PocketFives Rankings, Chris Moorman1Moorman (pictured). The Brit moved up from #100 to #65 after a victory over the weekend in the Sunday Supersonic. Moorman has almost $13 million in tracked online MTT winnings, the most of any PocketFiver, and 25 PocketFives Triple Crowns, which also paces our community. Moorman has another $4.1 million in live winnings to boot and is a WPT champion.
